Back to Challenge: Honhaar Scholarship Challenge: How Punjab's Undergraduate Tuition Scholarship Works

Synopsis

A checklist-led plan for the Honhaar scholarship: confirm the current round on the official portal, prepare your domicile, results, enrolment proof and income affidavit, apply once, and keep your tracking ID. Last checked 16 October 2026.

The Solution

Honhaar solution: prepare once, apply once

Last checked: 16 October 2026. Read the Honhaar scholarship challenge first. The rules in it come from earlier notices, so start by checking what is current.

Step 1: check the current round

Open the official portal, honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk, and read the current notice. Confirm whether the Punjab-domicile round is open, which disciplines and institutions are covered, the income limit for your type of institution, and the closing date. Ignore forwarded summaries and unofficial websites.

Step 2: confirm that you fit

  • Domicile of the province the notice names
  • Enrolment in a listed discipline at a listed public university or college, in the semester the notice names
  • Family income below the limit in the notice
  • FSc marks at or above the minimum for your discipline
  • No other scholarship that the notice disallows

Step 3: gather your documents

  • Domicile certificate
  • B-Form or CNIC
  • Matric and Intermediate result cards
  • Proof of enrolment in your programme
  • Income affidavit on e-stamp paper, using the format and amount the current notice names. Arrange this early, because it is the document that most often delays applications.
  • Any other document the portal lists

Step 4: apply on the portal

Create an account, complete the online form carefully, and upload clear scans. Check every number against your documents before you submit. After submitting, save the tracking ID, because that is how you follow your status.

Step 5: after you apply

Check the portal for updates and keep your attendance and results strong, because the scheme expects satisfactory academic performance. If your application needs correction, respond quickly and only through the portal or your university’s focal person.

Scam warning

The portal is free to use. Do not pay an agent, a “form fee” or a “processing fee” to anyone, and do not enter your details on any link that is not the official portal address.

Common mistakes

Relying on last year’s income limit. Leaving the affidavit to the last day. Uploading blurry scans. Not saving the tracking ID.
