Matric 2027 Private Candidate Challenge: How to Register With a Punjab Board or FBISE

Private Matric candidates register in two steps: enrol with the board, then submit the exam admission form months later. BISE Lahore enrolment for 2027 costs Rs 2,020 and has been open since 10 July 2026. Admission-form dates are not yet announced. Last checked 16 October 2026.

Private Matric 2027: the two steps and where each board stands

The figures below come from Pakistan Era’s 30 September 2026 report, which read BISE Lahore notice No. 684-Registration (7 July 2026), the BISE Lahore enrolment portal and FBISE’s latest fee notice. I could not open the original scanned notices myself, so confirm each figure on your board’s website before you pay.
The two steps
- Enrolment. You register with the board as a private candidate and receive an enrolment number.
- Exam admission form. Months later, you submit the admission form with your enrolment number and pay the exam fee. Many private candidates miss step one.
BISE Lahore enrolment for 2027

You need your B-Form number and your parent’s CNIC number, and a photo on a white background. If you come from another board or from O Levels, choose “Other Board” and attach an NOC and your result card. If you have already appeared with BISE Lahore, use your old enrolment number instead of enrolling again.
Admission forms: not announced yet
No board had published the 2027 admission-form schedule on 30 September. For the 2026 exam, Punjab boards took forms from 4 November 2025 and the final triple-fee date was 6 January 2026, with papers from 3 March 2026. Use that only as a pattern, because a new notification sets the real dates.
FBISE private candidates
FBISE had not published its SSC 2027 schedule. For the SSC second annual 2026 exam, registered private candidates paid Rs 2,700 per part, and non-registered candidates from other boards paid Rs 4,400 including Rs 1,700 registration. The fee is paid only through the challan that the system generates, and you print your own roll number slip from fbise.edu.pk.
Why it is hard
- Two separate deadlines for two separate steps.
- A spelling mistake in the enrolment form can only be corrected later, at the admission stage, for a fee.
- Nine Punjab boards, plus FBISE, each with its own site and notices.
Common mistakes
Enrolling twice. Typing the name differently from the B-Form. Paying anyone who quotes a fee before the board has published one. Losing the HBL candidate copy.
